Teaching approach includes lectures, problem-based learning exercises, case study analyses, seminars and independent study. All classes are taught by great experts from Maastricht School of Management and University of Economy.

Dr. Nicole Mau is Senior Researcher at the University of West-Hungary since 2013. Nicole was full time executive with the REWE group (one of the largest retailer in Europe with over Euro 53 bio. turnover and more then 350000 employees) for the last 5 years. Her positions included: establishing the department for business consulting and business development; international project management for strategic projects in several countries.
Prior to REWE she was working as a management consultant and was working as a researcher with the Justus-Liebig-University in Germany. With her survey on globalization (supply, product quality, collaboration etc.) she, together with her husband, had several appearances on German TV, radio and newspapers. He is teaching internationally and works as a management consultant for enterprises in diverse industries. Her PhD-thesis is about CO2-certificates for air pollution one of the hot topics of environmental management in Europe today. Nicole is teaching internationally and works as a management consultant for enterprises in diverse industries.
Her Teaching activities cover: Strategic Management, Business Development, Intercultural Management, Environmental Management, European Marketing, Operative Marketing / Customer Satisfaction, Organizational design, Project management, Process Management, Wholesale/Retail Management.

Dr. Markus Mau is University-Professor for Business Management and European Expert for Sustainability in Supply Chains. Prior to this he was working in the industry and with PricewaterhouseCoopers and IBM Global Services. He is Director of the Institute for Innovative Strategies in Hungary with over 18 full time researchers and lecturers. The Institute operates globally and is collaborating with Academic and Industrial Institutions around the world. Additionally Markus Mau represents Germany internationally in the development and review of ISO standards for Environmental purposes since 2007.
He published over 40 papers and is author of the bestseller “Logistics” book in German Language. With his survey on globalization (supply, product quality, collaboration etc.) he together with his wife had several appearances on German TV, radio and newspapers. He is teaching internationally and works as a management consultant for enterprises in diverse industries. For his work in logistics, marketing and collaboration along the supply chain he recived the Efficient Consumer Response Award from the German, Austrian and Swiss Industry. His Teaching activities cover: Strategic Management, Logistics, Infrastructure, Supply Chain Management, Sustainability, Environmental Management, Innovation, Marketing, Marketing-Management, Organizational design, Project management.

Dr. Manfred G. Lieb is a Professor of Management at Heilbronn University since 1989. He studied Management at the Technische Universität Berlin and at Mannheim University. He completed his studies with the grade Diplom Kaufmann at University Mannheim. After that he worked as a researcher (Prof. Alfred Kieser) and wrote his Dissertation (Dr. rer. pol.)  Mr. Lieb was for some years full time executive with the Benckiser group (now ReckittBenckiser. His positions included: Organization and Marketing. He was responsible for international projects in logistics and Director of logistics at Benckiser Germany.
In 1989 he got a call from Heilbronn University as a Professor of Management. Since then he has held different positions, two times Dean of the Faculty, Dean of Students affairs and head of the examination board; all at the Faculty of International Business. From 2000 till 2004 he was a member of the board at Heilbronn University.
His research projects covert successful strategic management in the German fashion industry, success strategies in the German automotive supplier industry, Digital Business in Tourism and Success strategies in the digital landscape. Prof. Aad van Mourik, PhD
Professor of Economics. Graduate of the economics department of the Free University of Amsterdam. PhD in economics from Maastricht University. Formerly among others employed as associate professor at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA), academic director at Maastricht University’s Center for European Studies, as dean of the Cologne Business School (Germany) and as academic director at Hoge School Zuyd’s Hotel Management School. Specialization and publication of books and articles in international economics/European integration economics. Lectures in managerial economics, and international economic policy issues.

Prof. dr. Harald Sander
Professor of Economics at MSM and a Professor of Economics and International Economics at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. He has worked and published extensively on international economic integration, international trade policy, the macroeconomics of sovereign debt crises, and European banking market integration. He is the author and editor of several books, including a volume on “World Trade after the Uruguay Round” published by Routledge and a report on “European Retail Banking Market Integration” for the Centre of European Policy Studies, a major European think tank. He has published in leading international journals like the Journal of International Money and Finance, the Journal of Banking and Finance and Applied Economics and has been a visiting research fellow to the International Monetary Fund, the Centre for Contemporary Europe Research Centre at the University of Melbourne, and the Global Business Institute at New York University. Currently he is working on a major research project on the “Geography of Global Banking” with Stefanie Kleimeier (Maastricht University) which is co-funded by the German “Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft” and the Dutch “NWO”

Joris H.T. Stadhouders
Assistant Professor of E-Business. Holds a B.S. in Mathematics from Delft University of Technology (the Netherlands) and a M.Sc. from Eindhoven University of Technology (the Netherlands). Was an automation expert for the Netherlands Economic Institute, has worked in management consultancy positions in South America and Central Asia and has lectured applied statistics and information technology courses. Lectures Computer Applications, Management Information Systems, Information Technology for Executive Action, and Quantitative Techniques.

David J. Dingli, MBA/M.Phil.
David is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management. He has been working for MSM since the year 2000. He holds a M.Phil. degree from Maastricht School of Management, an MBA from Henley Management College –Brunel University (U.K.) and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Malta. David is currently pursuing his DBA at MSM. His research interest is in measuring Manufacturing Competences. He is a member of the Malta Institute of Management and the Malta Federation of Industry. He lectures in Operations Management, Global Supply Chain Management, Corporate Global Strategy and Entrepreneurship & Innovation Technology. He has lectured in 25 countries across Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. He is also a practicing management consultant and corporate trainer. He holds the position of Managing Consultant of his own firm: Resource Productivity Consulting Services (Malta) specializing in Business Planning and Operational efficiency improvements. Prior to his present professional commitments he held the position of Secretary General at the Malta Institute of Management and was also an Industrial Engineer at Medwear Clothing Ltd. And a Professional Officer (Engineering) at Telemalta Corporation (Malta ’s national telecommunications provider).

Oliver W. Olson, MBA
Senior Lecturer of Marketing and Strategy and Head of Enrollment Management.  Oliver was one of the founders of the Maastricht School of Management Romania and was that school’s first Dean and Academic Director. He has served as the Academic Director for the creation of the International Academy of Retail Banking, a division of the London based Lafferty Group. He has previously been the Country Manager for CEU Business School, Romania, and has held various roles at CEU Business School in Budapest serving as the MBA Program Director and Director of Degree Programs Administration.  Prior to joining the CEU Business School, Oliver Olson started his professional career as an Export Product Manager for Salamander Shoes in Stuttgart, Germany in the 90’s. He then moved to the USA where he worked in banking for almost a decade, including stints as Assistant Vice President at Bank of America, Senior Manager for a major credit card company and the CIO of a community bank in Dallas, Texas. Oliver earned his Undergraduate Degree in International Business and German from California State University, Fullerton and his MBA from the University of Texas, Dallas. Oliver is fluent in German and can hold his own in Swedish and Romanian.  He is working on his Dutch.

Peter Kaluba
Peter graduated from the Real Madrid Graduate School – Universidad Europea de Madrid in Spain earning an MBA in Sport Management and the Executive MBA program at GFKM validated by Rotterdam School of Management, Netherlands. He obtained his MA in Social Sciences at The University of Social Science and Humanities and BA in Management & Marketing in Warsaw School of Management, Poland. Peter has over 20 years business experience ranging from several transnational corporations and entrepreneurship initiatives around the world. Currently, he is working on his Ph.D. in social psychology researching on links between psychology and professional success factors. He is a Polish citizen and speaks Polish, English, Russian and Spanish.
